Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division is hiring a Power Systems Engineering Lead to join the PSE group. The role can be based at one of Eaton's Canadian locations including Laval, QC, and other offices.

You will provide applied engineering consultation across power systems studies, power quality analysis, substation design, and training to help clients optimize reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license in Canada required or eligible.
• Minimum 5+ years as a power systems engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide applied engineering consultation for power systems studies, design, installation, and commissioning.
• Manage projects and costs within budget; prepare proposals and pricing.
• Deliver technical solutions including equipment design upgrades and testing.
• Perform engineering design tasks applying core engineering principles.
• Troubleshoot distribution equipment and mentor junior engineers.
• Design and deliver specialized training for clients.
