Job summary

TG Minto Palmerston, located in Palmerston, Ontario, is seeking Lead Operators to support production of high-quality automotive parts in a Just-in-time environment. The role offers a straight night shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with potential shift changes to meet production needs.

Duties include following work instructions, meeting hourly quotas, documenting daily production, operating injection machines and stations, cross-training, Kanban adherence, and maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; aptitude test acceptable
• Able to bend, reach, lift and perform physical requirements; accommodations available
• Night shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM; shift changes may occur to meet production needs

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in various areas, tasks and/or machinery.
• Train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.
