Job summary

PTW Energy Services in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to lead and mentor a crew on piping projects. You will interpret drawings, coordinate field activities and uphold safety, quality, and schedule expectations on-site.

The role requires a Journeyman Pipefitter ticket, 5+ years of experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and certifications in First Aid, Fall Protection, and H2S Alive.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Pipefitter certification or equivalent trade ticket.
• 5+ years of pipefitting experience.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• ESC Fall Protection certification.
• H2S Alive certification.
• Class 5 driver's license and ability to work locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a crew of pipefitters to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specs to guide installation and repair work.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors and other trades on-site.
• Enforce safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and direction to crew members.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites.
