Job summary

PTW Energy Services is hiring a Journeyman Pipefitter in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area. You will lead a crew, interpret drawings, coordinate field activities, and uphold safety and quality standards on site.

The role requires a valid Journeyman Pipefitter certification with 5+ years’ piping experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Local candidates preferred; Monday–Friday shifts with occasional overtime and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Pipefitter certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of pipefitting experience.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a crew of pipefitters to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installation and repair work.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to crew members.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites.
