Job summary

PTW Energy Services is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our Lower Mainland team. You will lead a crew, interpret drawings, coordinate field activities, and uphold safety and craftsmanship on piping projects.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Pipefitter certification required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of pipefitting experience.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Valid First Aid certification required.
  • ESC Fall Protection certification required.
  • H2S Alive certification required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and local residency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a crew of pipefitters to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide installation and repair work.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to crew members.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all job sites.

Role Summary

PTW is hiring a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team in the Lower Mainland. This role is ideal for a certified tradesman ready to take on a leadership position, guiding crews and ensuring safe, high-quality execution of piping projects. You will play a key role in interpreting drawings, coordinating field activities, and setting standards for safety and craftsmanship on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Must be local to the Lower Mainland, BC area
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Overtime: Available occasionally
  • Travel: Local position (no travel required)
