Job summary

The Home Depot in Saint-Henri, QC is seeking a Head Cashier to partner with the Front End Supervisor and motivate associates to deliver a great shopping experience. You will coach and develop Front End and Lot Associates, manage scheduling, and handle first-level escalation of customer issues.

You will lead with GET behaviours, ensure adequate checkouts, train cashiers, and support safety and loss prevention while maintaining strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in retail or cash handling is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, promote GET behaviours and motivate front end associates.
• Ensure sufficient checkouts are available and lines stay orderly.
• Coach and develop Front End and Lot Associates and schedule coverage.
• Provide training, information, tools, coaching and recognition.
• Communicate goals and directions from store leadership to staff.
• Maintain safety and loss prevention processes on the front end.
