Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to support the Front End Supervisor and motivate front end associates to deliver a great shopping experience. You will coach, train and develop team members while managing scheduling and first-level escalation for customer issues.

Responsibilities include leading front end operations, ensuring adequate open registers, and maintaining safety and service standards in a busy retail environment. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or cash handling experience is assets.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure GET behaviours and great customer experience.
• Coach and develop front end and lot associates; assist with scheduling and escalation.
• Manage cashier operations, including operating cash machines and training cashiers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and safe front-end operations.
