Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking an Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technologist II for Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary. The role includes performing standard and complex EEGs, supporting the Seizure Monitoring Unit, and potentially assisting with Ictal SPECT injections depending on licensure.

You will determine tests based on clinical history, contribute to intraoperative monitoring feedback, and help train new staff while ensuring accurate patient records and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration with ACMDTT.
• Graduation from a formal electrophysiology program or equivalent training.
• Successful completion of CBRET exams or CNIM/C-NIM pathway.
• Current registration with ACMDTT/ACDMTT.
• English language fluency to meet ACMDTT policy.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex EEG recordings for the Seizure Monitoring Unit.
• Provide EEG technologist support and assist in training junior personnel.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ENP equipment and manage patient records.
• Travel to other adult acute care sites within Calgary Zone as required.
