Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Diagnostic Neurophysiology Technologist 1 to join the Electroencephalography (EEG) team at Vancouver General Hospital and supporting UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC. You will perform EEG and evoked potentials, record measurements, and prepare technical reports for medical staff interpretation.

Education: Diploma of Technology in Electrophysiology, plus CBRET certification; you will work under supervision with emphasis on accuracy, safety and patient-centered

Qualifications

• Diploma of Technology in Electrophysiology is required.
• CBRET certification is required.
• Broad knowledge of electroneurophysiology theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEG and evoked potentials tests and records measurements.
• Prepares technical reports for interpretation by medical staff.
