Job summary

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
• Graduate of an accredited Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technology program.
• Current registration through CBRET.
• Experience performing routine and specialized EEG studies in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of EEG instrumentation, recording techniques, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine which ENP tests to perform based on clinical history, findings, and protocols.
• Provide feedback to surgeons for early detection of intraoperative injury and immediate corrective measures.
• Implement, maintain and assess approved quality control procedures.
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff and coordinate the orientation of new employees.
• Provide technical and problem solving advice to other EEG Technologists.

As an Electroneurophysiology (EEG) Technologist, you will provide high-quality electroencephalography (EEG) services to support the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders. Located in the Chinook Regional Hospital,Lethbridge.Working collaboratively with neurologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will perform EEG studies, ensure accurate data collection, and contribute to safe, patient-centered care. This position may qualify for a recruitment incentive of up to $60,000, based on the length of their Return for ServiceLethbridge is located in southern Alberta within 150km of the Rocky Mountains and enjoys warm bright summers and mild winters.
