AgeCare Pine Grove in Woodbridge, Ontario, is seeking a Cook for a temporary full-time role in a long-term care residence. You will ensure meals are prepared and served on time, maintain sanitary work areas, and supervise Food Services staff.

Requires prior cook experience (supervisory preferred), a Safe Food Handling Certificate, and a diploma/certificate in food preparation. Competitive hourly pay of $24.14–$26.90 is offered and salary placement depends on qualifications.

Formación

• Prior supervisory experience as a cook preferred.
• Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• High school education is preferred; diploma/certificate in quality food prep is required or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Checks special diet orders for new admissions to ensure they are correct.
• Responds to resident or family concerns and takes appropriate action within authority.
• Directs Food Services Workers and oversees operation of the Food Services Department.
