Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in Woodbridge, Ontario is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in our long-term care residence. The role requires supervising Food Services workers, ensuring safety and sanitation, and addressing resident and family concerns.

The successful candidate will have prior cook experience (preferably supervisory), a current Safe Food Handling Certificate, and at least a high school diploma; a quality food preparation certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Cook, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• A High school education is preferred; a diploma/certificate or equivalent in quality food preparation is required.
