Job summary

Crumbl- Woodbridge is seeking a Part-Time Lead Baker to oversee daily production of our baked goods in Woodbridge. The role focuses on maintaining quality, taste, and presentation while leading junior bakers and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has certification in baking and pastry arts or equivalent experience, with proven leadership abilities and strong organizational skills to manage fast-paced kitchen activity and health/safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certification in Baking and Pastry Arts or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Baker or Lead Baker in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, tools, and ingredients.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compliance with local health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in the daily production of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and other desserts.
• Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of all baked products meet our restaurant’s standards.
• Supervise junior bakers and kitchen staff, providing guidance and training when necessary.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring timely reordering and maintaining stock levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station and surrounding areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of baked goods to the dining area.
• Adhere to and implement food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Work part-time availability, typically 20-30 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to commit to shifts on short notice, including weekends and holidays.
