Job summary

Brentwood Bay Resort in the Greater Victoria area is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support our Guest Experience team. You will sort, pre-treat, and care for linens, forecast demand, and keep our luxury operation running smoothly behind the scenes.

We offer a full-time, on-site role with a competitive hourly wage of 20–23 CAD, health and dental benefits after three months, and staff perks including spa discounts and hotel stays in a waterfront setting.

Responsibilities

• Sort laundry, load and unload machines, and transport loads throughout the resort.
• Pre-treat stains according to resort standards and move wet laundry from washer to dryer.
• Inspect, iron, hang, or fold all linens and towels to presentation standards.
• Monitor linen levels, forecast demand, and replenish stock as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to supervisors.
• Care for laundry equipment and submit work orders to maintenance when needed.
• Take part in team pre-shift meetings and support colleagues across departments.
• Follow all safety and chemical-handling procedures (training provided).

As a Laundry Attendant on our Guest Experience team, you set the foundation for the department's daily success. By anticipating laundry demands and preparing for expected business levels, you make sure linen levels are always ready for daily operations, so your peers in Housekeeping and across the resort can deliver the luxury and comfort our guests expect. Your care and consistency behind the scenes show up in every freshly made bed and every perfectly folded towel.

A day in the life
