Job summary

Brentwood Bay Resort is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain a spotless, safe environment across the lobby, spa, and staff areas. You’ll help guests feel welcome by keeping facilities clean and well-organized, with pride in five-star first impressions.

The role offers a competitive wage of $21–$23 per hour, benefits after three months, and access to staff perks such as discounted menus, free hotel stays, and spa savings. Training is provided, and applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or housekeeping is an asset, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize lobbies, hallways, restrooms, spa spaces, and staff areas.
• Maintain laundry rooms, storage areas, and kitchen back-of-house spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors across the property.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose properly.
• Respond to cleaning requests and light maintenance needs.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report low inventory.
• Safely handle and store cleaning products and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues observed during shifts.
