Andritz AG is seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to support the setup and operation of machining equipment in Windsor, Ontario. This permanent, on-site role requires adapting to a fast-paced production environment and working multiple shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, experience with precision measurement tools, and the ability to read technical drawings. Join ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel’s expanding die-plant facility in Windsor.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Prior experience with CNC or manual lathe machines preferred.
  • Willingness to work days, afternoons and nights.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate lathe machines to perform cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing of parts and materials.
  • Inspect finished products to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools to assess part dimensions.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality output.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Join us at an exciting time as we launch a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario! We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to support the setup and operation of our machining equipment. This role is critical in ensuring that machined parts meet quality and design standards in a fast-paced production environment. Ability and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends required.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Set up and operate lathe machines to perform cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing of parts and materials.
