ANDRITZ Canada is seeking a Winding Quality Assurance Lead for the hydro generator manufacturing group in Peterborough, ON. The role focuses on quality control across the manufacturing process, with responsibility for electrical testing, calibration management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will supervise QC inspectors, implement ITPs, ensure regulatory and contract compliance, and contribute to testing Lab activities while liaising with R&D and manufacturing teams.

From water to wire – Be part of the movement!The open position is for a Winding Quality assurance lead in the hydro generator manufacturing group. The team is responsible for the manufacturing of large hydro generator components, with a primary focus on North American generator projects. This position involves quality control at all stages throughout the manufacturing process, as well as technical support and performance of high voltage and lifecycle testing. They will be accountable for the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures. They will propose creative solutions to new and existing projects and ensure a consistent and reliable inspection process. They will be the champion of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
