Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops in Edmonton is seeking a Full Time Laminate Countertop Installer - Sub Contractor to join our Edmonton Branch. The role involves on-site installation, removal of existing countertops, and coordinating with clients to address inquiries.

A background in construction/trades and ability to read blueprints are required. The successful candidate will work with a team, maintain professional standards on site, and may travel locally or out of town.

Qualifications

• Have related education and/or previous experience in a similar industry.
• have experience in construction, masonry or trades.
• Basic understanding of plumbing an asset.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Correctly install laminate/solid surface countertops on site, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Cleanly remove the existing countertop and plumbing if required.
• Respond to customer inquiries and/or concerns while on the job site.
• Contacts office to resolve any concerns that cannot be addresses on the job site.
• Troubleshoots technical problems related to the installation as they arise.
• Works as closely to the schedule as possible and contacts customer if running behind.
• Maintains company vehicle interior and exterior to the Companies standards.
• Regular bending, kneeling and twisting.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Regular local travel to clients homes and occasional out of town work.
• Other duties as assigned

Required immediately, our Edmonton Branch is seeking a Full Time Laminate Countertop Installer - Sub Contractor

The successful candidate will have:

• Have related education and/or previous experience in a similar industry
• have experience in construction, masonry or trades
• Basic understanding of plumbing an asset
• Basic math skills
• Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Be able to lift upwards of 200 lbs. assisted
• Work with a team and make sound decisions
• Have valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
