Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops in Edmonton is seeking a Full Time Laminate Countertop Installer - Sub Contractor to join our Edmonton Branch. The role involves on-site installation, removal of existing countertops, and coordinating with clients to address inquiries.

A background in construction/trades and ability to read blueprints are required. The successful candidate will work with a team, maintain professional standards on site, and may travel locally or out of town.

Qualifications

Have related education and/or previous experience in a similar industry.
have experience in construction, masonry or trades.
Basic understanding of plumbing an asset.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

Correctly install laminate/solid surface countertops on site, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Cleanly remove the existing countertop and plumbing if required.
Respond to customer inquiries and/or concerns while on the job site.
Contacts office to resolve any concerns that cannot be addresses on the job site.
Troubleshoots technical problems related to the installation as they arise.
Works as closely to the schedule as possible and contacts customer if running behind.
Maintains company vehicle interior and exterior to the Companies standards.
Regular bending, kneeling and twisting.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Regular local travel to clients homes and occasional out of town work.
Other duties as assigned
