Lake Louise Inn is seeking a Food & Beverage Host to welcome guests, seat them and help run food while ensuring guest satisfaction. Located in Lake Louise, the role is full-time with a typical 32–40 hours per week schedule.

The position requires previous customer service experience and a ProServe Certificate, with an emphasis on friendly, professional service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include staff meals and access to onsite facilities.

DETAILS:

Valid Canadian Work-Permit Required for International Applicants

Full-time position, average of 32-40 hours per week

First 90 days: $17.25 per hour

After 90 days: $18.75 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, a Food & Beverage Host is responsible for seating guests and running food while ensuring guest satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests upon arrival in a timely manner
• Ensure that all set‑ups are correct and complete
• Explain the menu specials and introduce server
• Maintain a professional and pleasant appearance at all times
• Run beverages and food in a timely manner
• Appropriately and promptly clear and clean tables in a timely manner
• Perform other related duties as required by the Restaurant Manager
• Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times
• Ensure that restaurant is maintained clean, safe and secure
• Ensure the Guest Service Standards, Hotel Policies and Procedures are maintained at all times
• Complete daily and weekly checklists are complete
• Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recycling
• Other related duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to deal with irate, intoxicated guests
• Trained to handle burglaries/thefts
