Job summary

Clean Harbors Edmonton, AB is seeking a Field Laborer to join our safety-conscious team. You will assist with the safe operation of equipment, including High Pressure Units, Chemical, Combo and Vacuum Trucks.

The role requires travel 1–4 weeks at a time and a Class 5 driver’s license. You will support Operators, rig/unrig equipment, complete daily paperwork, and help maintain a clean, safe job site.

Qualifications

  • Class 5 driver's license required.
  • Industrial or oil field labor experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 1–4 weeks at a time.
  • Experience with vacuum, chemical or high-pressure units preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Health and safety is the top priority by following safe practices and processes.
  • Assist Operators in the safe operation of all units.
  • Ensure safe, stable, and secure placement of units on site.
  • Complete all required daily paperwork.
  • Rig equipment in and out.
  • General cleanup and maintenance of units after job completion.
  • Provide high levels of customer service to internal and external clients.

The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting with the safe operation of a wide variety of equipment, including but not limited to: High Pressure Units, Chemical, Combo and Vacuum Trucks.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Assisting the Operators in the safe operation of all units;
  • Ensuring the job site placement of the unit is safe, stable and secure;
  • Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis;
  • Rigging equipment in and out;
  • General clean up and maintenance of units upon completion of the job;
  • Provides high levels of customer service with internal employees and external clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Class 5 Driver's License required;
  • Previous industrial or oil field experience in a labor intensive role is required;
  • Ability to travel 1- 4 weeks at a time;
  • Previous experience with any of the following units: Vacuum, Chemical or High Pressure required;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
