Job summary

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a Laborer to join our safety‑minded team. You will operate the assigned unit and perform a variety of tasks as dictated by the client, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include maintaining health and safety as a priority, attending daily safety meetings, assisting with swamping and staging, and performing pre/post trip inspections with the operator.

  • Ability to follow policies, procedures and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated reliability and willingness to work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Laborer's to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for operating the assigned unit and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Attends daily safety meeting and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with swamping and staging of units.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections alongside operator.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Class 5 Driver's License required.
  • Valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day). Training can be arranged.
  • Experience with Hydrovac/High-Pressure/Combo/Wet Vac/Steamer unit is considered an asset.
  • Experience with construction, oil field or industrial is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period of time.
