Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.
• At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred, ECG experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner.
• Procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens.
• Perform procedures and reporting of results.
• Monitor wait times to ensure prompt, patient‑centered service.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.In addition to a competitive rate of pay, APL currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience.ECG experience.
