Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs (APL) is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to join the McKnight Patient Service Centre in a fast-paced, public-facing role. You will perform venipuncture, ECGs, and a variety of lab functions including specimen handling, processing and results reporting, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
• Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG Certification.
• Recent phlebotomy experience; at least 6 months within the last 2 years. Recent ECG experience; at least 6 months within the last 2 years. At least 6 months of experience in a Patient Service Centre.
