Job summary

Siloam Mission is seeking a part-time kitchen coordinator to prepare and serve nutritious meals at our Roblin Blvd location in Winnipeg. You will supervise volunteers and staff in meal preparation, service, and cleanup, ensuring food safety and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Safe Food Handling Certificate is required.
• 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Volunteer management experience is highly suggested.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, organize and delegate tasks to volunteers.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and food regulations are followed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Receive and manage food donations.
• Maintain a zero-waste kitchen approach.
• Follow City of Winnipeg health standards while serving nutritious meals.
