Job summary

Burger King in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a dedicated shift supervisor to lead a fast-paced restaurant team. You will manage daily operations, supervise 3-4 staff, train on sanitation and safety, and ensure high-quality service to guests.

The role requires 1–2 years in food service, a secondary school diploma, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Evening, morning and weekend shifts are available, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate required.
• 1–2 years of experience in food service.
• Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• Must supervise and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and co-ordinate staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Prepare food order summaries for chef.
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays.
• Establish work schedules.
