Job summary

Coast Hotels in Vancouver is seeking a Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher to support the kitchen team, operate dishwashing equipment, keep areas clean, and maintain sanitary conditions during busy service and events.

You will assist with prep, stock supplies, and demonstrate a customer service attitude while adhering to Coast Hotels standards. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Preference for culinary arts/professional cook training program.
• FoodSafety certification required or preferred.
• WHMIS training an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operates, cleans, and maintains the dishwashing equipment and keeps kitchen areas sanitary.
• Completes assigned prep work to support kitchen team for service and banquet events.
• Adheres to Coast Hotels standards when completing tasks.
• Maintains safety and security of the property, guests and staff while performing duties.
• Stocks supplies and maintains inventory levels.
• Acts as an ambassador for Coast Hotels.
