Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort Company is seeking a Seasonal – Part Time role to maintain a clean environment and ensure kitchen tools are ready for use. The position includes stocking and organizing china, glass, and cutlery for banquet services, cleaning equipment and kitchen areas, and assisting chefs as needed.

Wage is $19.00 per hour; requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid driver's license is an asset, and availability to work days and afternoons.

• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize china, glass and cutlery for banquet services.
• Clean equipment and stainless-steel walls in the kitchen; sweep and mop kitchens and storage areas.
• Wash dishes, remove food waste, load/unload dishwasher.
• Assist Chief Steward with moving and organizing small wares for off-site events.
• Assist Chefs with plated meals as required.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The purpose of this role is to maintain a clean environment and ensure that the kitchen tools are ready and in place for the next use.

• Stocks and organizes china, glass and cutlery for banquet services.
• Cleans equipment and stainless-steel walls in the kitchen, sweep and mop kitchens and storage areas.
• Cleans dishes, removes food waste from plates, fills dishwasher and unloads dishwasher.
• Assist Chief Steward with moving and organizing small wares for off-site events, as required.
• Assist Chefs with plated meals as required.
