Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is seeking a Seasonal - Part Time Kitchen Steward to help keep the kitchen spotless and organized. The role focuses on maintaining a clean kitchen environment and ensuring tools are ready for the next use.

You will stock china, glass and cutlery for banquets, clean equipment and walls, sweep and mop, wash dishes, and assist the Chief Steward and Chefs as needed in a busy resort kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
• Vali d Driver's License is an asset.
• Able to work days and afternoons.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment and ensure kitchen tools are ready for the next use.
• Stock and organize china, glass and cutlery for banquet services.
• Clean equipment and stainless-steel walls; sweep and mop kitchens and storage areas.
• Clean dishes, remove food waste, fill and unload the dishwasher.
• Assist Chief Steward with moving and organizing small wares for off-site events.
• Assist Chefs with plated meals as required.
