Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. in Kingston, ON is hiring a Field Sales Manager to own a defined territory and drive new business for HR, Health & Safety, and compliance solutions.

This is a pure new business role for top performers who thrive on building pipelines and controlling their income. Expect a base salary of $60,000–$75,000 with guaranteed commission and an uncapped first-year earning potential (OTE $170,000–$250,000+, top earners up to $400,000).

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of B2B outbound field sales experience (mandatory).
• A proven track record of consistently winning new business.
• Strong hunter mentality with a drive for cold outreach and self-generated leads.
• Experience thriving in fast-moving, short-cycle new business sales environments is highly preferred.
• Experience managing your own territory independently.
• Confidence engaging senior stakeholders (Business Owners, Directors, Executives).
• A proactive approach to networking, referrals, and opportunity creation.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow your territory through new business development.
• Prospect and engage business owners and senior decision-makers across Kingston and surrounding areas.
• Manage the full sales cycle from cold outreach to closing deals.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline using cold calling, networking, referrals, and events.
• Operate independently in the field, managing your own schedule and territory strategy.
• Sell high-value HR, Health & Safety, and compliance solutions that deliver measurable ROI to clients.
