Job summary

CBI Health Group in Cranbrook, BC is seeking a Kinesiologist to provide one-on-one and group exercise prescriptions and to coordinate disability management. The role includes functional assessments, program design, job-site visits, return-to-work planning, and delivery of group education classes.

The successful candidate will hold a recognized Kinesiology degree, be in good standing with the BCAK, and may have experience with chronic pain and return-to-work scenarios.

Kinesiologist - Cranbrook, BC - 30+ hours per week

• Be responsible for the provision of one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription
• Provide disability management coordination
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports
• Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans
• Teach a variety of group education classes

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology
• You are a registered member in good standing with the BCAK
• Experience within Return to Work and Job Site Visits as well as Chronic Pain clients
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
