Job summary

CBI Health in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a Full-Life Registered Kinesiologist to join our inter-disciplinary rehabilitation team at 34194 Marshall Rd. You will provide one-on-one and group exercise prescriptions, coordinate disability management, and perform functional assessments.

We welcome new graduates. The role offers flexible hours, strong administrative support, and a comprehensive benefits package. Hourly pay ranges from 25.00 to 35.00 CAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or equivalent.
• Registered with the BCAK in good standing.
• Experience with Return to Work and job site visits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescriptions.
• Coordinate disability management and RTW planning.
• Complete functional assessments and reports.
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs for client needs.
• Conduct job-site visits and develop return-to-work plans.
• Lead group education classes.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Be responsible for the provision of one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription
• Provide disability management coordination
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports
• Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans
• Teach a variety of group education classes

Here’s What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology
• You are a registered member in good standing with the BCAK
• Experience within Return to Work and Job Site Visits as well as Chronic Pain clients
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
