Job summary

CBI Health Group in Sarnia, ON is seeking a Kinesiologist/Exercise Therapist to join our interdisciplinary clinic. You’ll design and implement therapeutic exercise programs, support return-to-work planning, and contribute to comprehensive patient care within a gym setting.

Requirements include a degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics and registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (or plan to register by Fall 2026).

Qualifications

• A degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario or plans to become registered by Fall 2026.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The desire to work hard to improve your skills.
• Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; pursue client goals.
• Experience in interdisciplinary care considered an asset.
• Experience with chronic pain, concussion management and chronic conditions considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Treat MVA, LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym setting
• Work under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Complete employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demands
• Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician
• Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning
• Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards

Wage range:$25.00-$30.00 per hour
