Job summary

CBI Health is hiring a Kinesiologist at the Nanaimo Wellington Clinic in British Columbia. The role involves one-on-one and group exercise prescription, disability management coordination, and functional assessments for a range of client needs.

You will design tailored therapeutic programs, conduct job-site visits, and deliver education classes. New graduates are welcome and benefits are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology.
• Registered with the BCAK in good standing.
• Experience in Return to Work and Job Site Visits; with Chronic Pain clients.
• Willingness to mentor and develop professionally.

• Be responsible for the provision of one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription
• Provide disability management coordination
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports
• Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans
• Teach a variety of group education classes

Here’s What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology
• You are a registered member in good standing with the BCAK
• Experience within Return to Work and Job Site Visits as well as Chronic Pain clients
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
