Job summary

CBI Health Group in Surrey is seeking a full-time Kinesiologist to support the King George and Fleetwood sites. You will provide one-on-one and group exercise prescription, perform functional assessments and develop return-to-work plans.

The role includes disability management coordination and serving clients with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and cognitive/mood concerns. New grads are welcome and a robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology.
• Registered with the BCAK in good standing.
• Experience in Return to Work and Job Site Visits, plus Chronic Pain caseloads.
• Passionate about the profession with commitment to ongoing development.

Full-Time Kinesiologist - Surrey King George and Surrey Fleetwood

37.5 hours per week

Please note: This role will service Job Site Visits as well as the Gradual Return to Work and the Customized Recovery Return to Work Programs.

• Be responsible for the provision of one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription
• Provide disability management coordination
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports
• Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology
• You are a registered member in good standing with the BCAK
• Experience within Return to Work and Job Site Visits as well as Chronic Pain clients
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development

Hourly Rate Range: $25.00-$35.00, variable pay
