Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Keyholder / Shift Lead for our cannabis retail team in Ontario. You’ll lead by example, assist customers with product education, and help guide teammates during shifts.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, restocking, inventory checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance with ID verification. Cannabis certifications and reliable customer service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age per province (18/19+).

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily store operations including merchandising and upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
