Job summary

Sessions Cannabis is seeking a Part-time Key Lead in Elliot Lake, Ontario, to assist the store manager with daily operations, staff deployment, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.

You will uphold store standards, educate customers on cannabis products, and help maintain compliance while supporting inventory, merchandising, and returns. A CannSell certification and 1 year of retail management are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail management experience
• 3-5 years customer service
• Valid CannSell certification, 19+, clear background check
• Knowledge of cannabis products is a plus

The Key Lead assists the store manager in overseeing daily operations, deploying staff, and ensuring a great customer experience through prompt service and quality products. This role also involves maintaining store standards and acting in alignment with Sessions Cannabis guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain calm during busy or unusual events.
• Anticipate and address customer/store needs, communicate with management.
• Provide feedback and coaching to staff.
• Ensure smooth operations, including opening/closing duties and cash handling.
• Monitor customer service standards and celebrate team achievements.
• Assist with inventory audits, merchandising, and discrepancies.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and safety.
• Perform returns, as per return policy and compliance standards.

From $18.00 per hour
