Job summary

FOUR20 Premium Market Ltd in Alberta is seeking friendly, customer-focused team members to join our growing cannabis retailer. You will help customers select products, provide education, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, maintaining inventory, adhering to regulatory guidelines, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment across locations. A valid Alberta cannabis license and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• Retail and customer service experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Lightspeed).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must hold a legal Alberta cannabis license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by guiding product selections and recommendations.
• Manage POS transactions including sales, voids, discounts and promotions.
• Maintain inventory counts and reporting; ensure stock levels are adequate.
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines and maintain a safe, inclusive store environment.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and merchandising.

Essential Functions

• Being a kind and decent human being, be your authentic self, promote a safe and inclusive environment
• Provide outstanding customer service by building baskets based on customers needs and recommendations
• Working together as a team, contributing to our FOUR20 culture and ensuring a safe space for all customers and employees
• Manage POS systems for transactions: sales, voids, discounts and promotions (Lightspeed POS)
• Responsible for open and close procedures of the store
• Be problem solvers: flexible with unforeseen situations and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Curious mindset; continuous learning of Cannabis products, strains, categories and accessories
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reporting
• Adhering to all regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures
• Comfortable working independently
• Merchandising and stocking, keeping product levels maintained
• Leverage our best in class in-house cannabis and sales education program.

• Time Management Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be physically able to pull, push and carry up to 25 lbs
