MedAccess is seeking a high-performing Key Account Manager to drive growth in a complex portfolio focused on high unmet need in Canada. You will own territory targets, build strategic plans, and engage with specialists, primary care, nurses, pharmacists, and institutional decision-makers.

You will navigate access, formulary processes, and reimbursement dynamics while maintaining compliant clinical conversations and leveraging CRM for insightful territory reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in hospital/specialty sales.
  • Proven track record of strong sales performance in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong understanding of institutional selling, formulary processes, access, and reimbursement dynamics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (25-40%) within territory.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver on territory sales targets through focused, disciplined execution.
  • Develop and execute a strategic, data-driven territory plan aligned with market reality and brand strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities and proactively adapt strategy to maximize performance.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including specialists, primary care providers, nurses, pharmacists, and institutional decision-makers.
  • Navigate complex healthcare environments including access, reimbursement, and formulary processes within assigned hospitals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating cross-functional support as needed.
  • Deliver clear, compliant, and impactful clinical conversations aligned with approved materials.
  • Translate complex clinical data into meaningful, value-based discussions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of disease state, treatment landscape, and competitive positioning.
  • Support and participate in educational initiatives, meetings, and conferences.
  • Leverage digital and omni-channel tools to enhance customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation, reporting, and territory insights.
  • Operate in full compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
