Job summary

JAMP Pharma Group is seeking a Territory Manager - GP for London, Ontario. The role focuses on promotion, strategic positioning, and sustainable growth of the portfolio among general practitioners, nurse practitioners, and other primary care stakeholders.

You will develop a robust territory plan, build long-term relationships grounded in scientific exchange and clinical relevance, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-impact execution across the province and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with strong credibility among healthcare professionals.
  • Established network or demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with general practitioners, nurse practitioners, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, including indications, clinical data, and competitive landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement pathways and the commercial dynamics of pharmaceutical products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and execution capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends and to travel as required (provincially and nationally).
  • Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and strengthen a strategic network of healthcare professionals and key stakeholders in the assigned territory.
  • Acquire and maintain a strong understanding of scientific data, indications, and clinical practice challenges to support high-value discussions.
  • Identify, segment and prioritize key customers based on territory potential and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan aligned with commercial goals and priorities.
  • Execute approved promotional activities to optimize performance and adoption of promoted products.
  • Apply a customer-centric approach reflecting patient needs and real-world primary care practice.
  • Navigate the healthcare environment including reimbursement frameworks, hospital systems and evolving technologies.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, medical affairs & market access to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Territory Manager - GP is responsible for the promotion, strategic positioning, and sales sustainable growth of the division’s product portfolio among healthcare professionals, primarily general practitioners and nurse practitioners, as well as other relevant primary care stakeholders.

Acting as a trusted business partner within the assigned territory, the Territory Manager is accountable for achieving annual sales objectives through the development and execution of a robust territory business plan. The role focuses on building long-term, value-based relationships grounded in scientific exchange, clinical relevance, and professional integrity. All activities are conducted in alignment with the company’s mission and in full compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical standards.

What you will do on daily basis:
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen a strategic network of healthcare professionals and key stakeholders within the assigned territory;
  • Acquire and maintain a strong understanding of scientific data, therapeutic indications, and clinical practice challenges to support high-value, evidence-based discussions;
  • Identify, segment, and prioritize key customers (prescribers, influencers, decision-makers) based on territory potential and strategic priorities;
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously adapt a territory business plan aligned with commercial goals and strategic priorities;
  • Execute approved promotional activities to optimize the performance and adoption of assigned products;
  • Apply a customer-centric approach that reflects patient needs and real-world primary care practice;
  • Navigate effectively within a complex healthcare environment, including competitive dynamics, reimbursement frameworks, hospital systems, and evolving technologies;
  • Participate in clinical and strategic discussions related to patient management to reinforce the value proposition of promoted products;
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (sales leadership, marketing, medical affairs & market access) to ensure cohesive and high-impact execution;
  • Ensure full compliance to company policies, ethical standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements .
