Job summary

SYSTRA Canada, part of the SYSTRA group, leads transportation consulting in Canada. Within the Environment team, you will assess, model, and mitigate noise and vibration impacts for public transit and rail projects from planning through commissioning.

You will ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, optimize technical solutions, and deliver auditable technical deliverables to clients and authorities, with clear communication in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor or advanced degree in mechanical or environmental engineering; acoustics specialization.
Professional Engineer designation or equivalent credentials.
3 years of relevant experience in noise and vibration for transportation projects.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy noise and vibration campaigns for rail projects.
Model noise and vibration across design, construction, and operations.
Integrate acoustic requirements into plans and specifications with cross-disciplinary coordination.
Lead the subject matter team to complete investigations and reporting.
Produce auditable technical deliverables and present results to technical audiences.
