OMERS & Oxford is seeking an Analyst, Business Intelligence to partner with finance stakeholders. The role analyzes data using Power BI, SQL and advanced Excel, driving automation and data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate across business groups, manage projects, and implement process improvements within a flexible hybrid work environment that emphasizes work-life balance while delivering meaningful insights for pension-related metrics.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree as stated in the job posting.
• Experience in data analysis or BI data roles, with collaboration across stakeholder groups.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical audiences.
• Comfort in dynamic environments and managing evolving requirements.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with multiple deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies (e.g., RPA) to improve processes.
• Experience with financial reporting concepts and data mining insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management teams to prioritize business analytics needs and define project requirements.
• Work with financial and operational data from primary or secondary sources across teams.
• Identify process improvements and explore new tools for enhanced reporting automation.
• Identify, analyze, interpret, and report trends in complex data sets.
• Explore large data sets to derive meaningful insights and key KPIs.
• Clean and validate data by reviewing extracts and reports, addressing data quality issues.
• Prepare and develop reporting materials for executive discussions.
