Job summary

Finning is seeking Journeyperson Electricians for permanent roles across Saskatchewan. You will work with heavy electrical and power generation systems, earning a wage of 42.62 to 51.57 per hour with premiums for continuous shifts, field work, and dual-ticket availability.

The package includes bonus target of 4%, paid time off, pension, employee share purchase, comprehensive medical benefits, and CAT-certified training funded by Finning. 3rd/4th year apprentices may be considered.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred).
• Power generation experience preferred or asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's license required.
• Generator experience would be an asset.
• Heavy Duty Mechanic with power generation background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment.
• Perform maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.
• Load test power generation equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment across CAT engines.
• Support customer service commitments on site.

Job Description:

• Service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment


• Perform maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments


• Load test power generation equipment


• Service, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment (including general maintenance to full rebuilds of CAT engines)


• Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)


• Heavy Duty Mechanic with power generation experience would be an asset


• Power Systems experience, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systems


• Valid Class 5 Drivers license


• Generator experience would be an asset
