Kal Tire is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician in Sudbury, ON. The role covers routine maintenance to complex repairs on a range of vehicles, with a structured path toward becoming a Lead Technician.

You will join a safety‑driven, quality‑focused team and contribute to growth within a well‑equipped shop. We offer a starting wage of $37.50 per hour, with opportunities for wage increases as you progress.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified).
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
