Kal Tire is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform routine maintenance to complex repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles and light-duty fleets at our Sudbury, ON store. You will work safely in a well-equipped shop, mentored by senior technicians and helping develop the next generation of skilled professionals.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified)
• A valid driver’s license.
• Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experienced in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
