Job summary

Kal Tire in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to perform routine maintenance to complex repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles and light-duty fleets. This full-time role is based at our Prince Albert, SK store.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal).
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing and repairs on various vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on vehicles from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
