Job summary

Fountain Tire Leduc is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and service customer vehicles in a clean, safe shop environment. You will conduct maintenance, communicate with customers, and help keep operations running smoothly.

This role offers strong training opportunities and a path toward leadership within Fountain Tire. Relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package, including RRSP matching, are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Red Seal status in Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and capable of servicing customers.
• Diagnostic specialist with interest in modern technology and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; commitment to customer experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customer vehicles.
• Perform repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Complete approved service and testing to spec.
• Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tune ups.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintain service equipment and operate vehicles safely.
• Support customer relationships by responding to inquiries.

You will get to

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

• Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
