Fountain Tire Drayton Valley is seeking a skilled Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles at our Drayton Valley shop. You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and complete approved services while upholding high standards of safety and quality.

Formación

• Licensed/Red Seal status in Automotive Service Technician trade.
• ≥2 years' automotive repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and customer service.
• Diagnostic skills and keeping up with modern technology.
• Good communication and commitment to customer experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customer vehicles.
• Perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrications, tune-ups).
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintain equipment and operate vehicles safely.
• Support customer relationships by responding to inquiries.

You will get to:

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer’s vehicle


• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency


• Completing approved service on customer vehicles


• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications


• Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.


• Advising customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements


• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basisOperating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner


• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

What does it take to get on track?

• Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade


• 2+ years of automotive experience


• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers


• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology


• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills


• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience


• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
