Kal Tire in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician for our Light Duty Fleet Centre. You will handle everything from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics for multiple vehicle brands in a dealership-level shop setting.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal)
• Valid driver’s license
• 3+ years hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments
• Experience in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Attention to detail and methodical problem solving

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services on vehicles, including brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing expertise and supporting skill development.
• Collaborate with a team while working on cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified
• A valid driver’s license.
• Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
