Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal) for our Prince Albert, SK store. The role focuses on routine maintenance and repairs across a range of vehicles, with a clear career path to Lead Technician and emphasis on safety and quality in a supportive team environment.

Compensation includes starting wages of 40 CAD per hour and a $5,000 Recruitment and Retention Bonus, with extended benefits and RRSP/Profit Sharing options.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed automotive service technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal).
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Brings a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor apprentices and support their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team on various vehicles from standard cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest safety and quality standards in all tasks.

We’re looking for a Journeyperson/Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to perform everything from routine maintenance and complex repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles, and light-duty fleets. This full-time, permanent role is based in our Prince Albert, SK store. Qualifications:

• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
